In Epilogue One, we had our first reveal. Way back at the start of this chapter, we were introduced to Albert, who insisted that his partner in crime was an 800-pound moth man who was invisible. But Cassie was never sure if he was telling the truth… The top half of today’s page settled it once and for all. Not only is he real, but evidently he’s tough enough to conquer a kaiju.
In Epilogue Two, we have our second reveal. Tempest tried her level best to seduce Iron Dragon. Did he succumb to her charms?
Panel 1
Narration: Epilogue one: To discover how the Silver Agency crew defeated the monster, we have to go back a couple of days… Right after calling Glue Trap and Jeremy back to the office, Cassie phones the gang of ne’er-do-wells.
Panel 2
Night Mayor: We’re being offered full-time positions at Evil Inc!
Crimson Ghost: What happens when they find out we didn’t stop the monster?!
Malocchio: I’m not gonna tell. Are you gonna tell?
Faux Fox: I’m not gonna tell. (shouts upwards) What about you guys?!
Panel 3
Albert (and the Imaginary Fiend): Your secret’s safe with us!
Panel 4
Narration: Epilogue two:
Desdemona: Tempest was trying to get you to cheat on us this whole time?!
Iron Dragon: Yup.
Panel 5
Iron Dragon: But I couldn’t do that to you guys!
Panel 6
Desdemona kisses Iron Dragon affectionately.
Panel 7
Surgat: Weren’t you tempted, though?
Iron Dragon: Sure. But not seduced.
Panel 8
Desdemona kisses Iron Dragon passionately.
Panel 9
Iron Dragon: She even tried to offer me the new manager job—with a big raise!—just to sleep with her! But I told her NO! NO! NEVER!
Panel 10
Iron Dragon leans forward, puckering his lips, expecting yet another kiss, but Desi is taken aback.
Panel 11
Desdemona: …How big?

I had the uncanny urge to make a magazine-style ad for my 🔞 Patreon this Thanksgiving. The idea of escaping family drama by sitting in a quiet corner and popping open EiAD gave me a smile. I’m kinda geeked by how it turned out. Fair warning: Lasciviousness below. I’ll put it after the transcript.

Although she started The Silver Agency to help superheroes, Cassie Cruz has been named the new manager of the Fairmount branch of Evil Inc! She announces that there will be a few new faces around the office — including a new corporate liaison who is an avowed troublemaker!
Although this is the end of the “Boss Battle” chapter, stick around. I have no fewer than four epilogues coming up to bring this baby in for a landing! The first one will explain exactly how the giant monster was defeated!
I’m considering the following departments for our newcomers.
Public Retaliations — I mean… Relations: Propaganda, public image and villain branding
Environmental Impact: Lairs, doomsday devices, and other operations have unquestionable environmental impacts. The person in charge of this department will be tasked with maximizing them.
Legal Affairs/Cover-ups: ‘Nuff said.
Matchmaking / Rivalries: Matching heroes and villains into ongoing rivalries.
Schemes/Planning: Now that Miss Match has transitioned into a teaching position, this department is now without a leader.
The existing Evil Inc/Fairmount departments are…
Professional Development: Miss Match
Reception: Lightning Lady
Occult Services: Desdemona
Lairs/Surreal Estate: Iron Dragon
Hench Allocation: Count Spurlock
Superhuman Resources: Giant Tess
Weapons/Power Suits: Psy-Chick
Research & Development: Dr. Muskiday
Sales & Service: Catnip
Last week, Cassie Cruz was named the new manager of the Fairmount branch of Evil Inc. Today, we rejoin Cassie as her faithful assistant asks her why she accepted the position.
Transcript
Panel 1
Narration: Later… back at the Silver Agency…
Jeremy: Ma’am… why are you doing this?
Panel 2
Cassie Cruz: The Evil Inc nursing home is the only place capable of caring for my mother’s special needs. And even they’re having trouble!
Panel 3
Cruz: So, when Dr. Whoosh offered me the job, I didn’t have a choice.
Panel 4
Cruz: Do you know what that feels like?! Abject powerlessness in the face of an assertive superior?
Panel 5
Cruz: Knowing you must subjugate yourself to their will? — Serve their every whim?! — Kneel before their authority?!?
Jeremy: Gulp. Y-Yes… yes, I do…
Panel 6
The scene widens out to show that Jeremy is still stuck to GlueTrap’s back. He’s been listening to this conversation against his will.
GlueTrap: Honestly… this is getting uncomfortable…
Here’s your first look at the full-page version of next week’s Evil Inc comics.

Iron Dragon, a muscular villain in a dragon-emblazoned costume, humbly steps forward.
In the final panels, Doctor Whoosh singles out Cassie from the “Silver Agency” for her team’s ingenuity, including defeating a giant monster. He shakes her hand and states that she is the right person to lead the office.

Evil Inc: Nov. 12, 2024 and Nov. 14, 2024
Panel 1:
Narration box: Meanwhile…
TV news anchor: We have an update from Hana Takahashi, reporting from downtown.
Panel 2:
Hana Takahashi: I’m told this gang of villains-turned-heroes have been alerted to a gigantic monster lumbering towards the heart of the city. It’s toppling every building in its path.
Panel 3:
Hana Takahashi: Upon hearing this, Night Mayor turned to his teammates and said… “All right, gang, time to move out.”
Panel 4:
TV news anchor: Does this mean we can expect these new heroes to swing into action?
Hana Takahashi: I’m… not sure…
All of the assembled superheroes are accessing familiar real-estate apps on their smartphones in an attempt to sell their houses before the monster destroys them.
Panel 5:
Night Mayor: We’re not superheroes! We’ve got no hope of defeating that monster!
Crimson Ghost: It’s times like these that superheroes are born!
Glue Trap: heh. I saw you and Malocchio working on that in the alley.
Jeremy: Malocchio! Will your curse work on that thing?
Malocchio: Yes. But my power relies on eye contact.
Faux Fox: Quick! Someone get Malocchio a turtleneck sweater!
Hana Takahashi (reporter): No, you idiot. She means… someone needs to fly her up to the creature’s face.
Panel 6:
Crimson Ghost: M’lady… your carriage awaits.
Malocchio: Isn’t there anything less… him?!
Panel 7:
Crimson Ghost (as he flies Malocchio towards the monster): It’s OK to be scared, but if we pull this off… the post-thwart adrenaline is gonna make that purse-snatching feel like a case of the hiccups.
Malocchio: That’s exactly what I’m afraid of!
Panel 8:
Crimson Ghost: Sooner or later, you’re gonna hafta admit you like me.
Malocchio: You’re gonna need a lot more monsters.
