Here’s your early access to next week’s Evil Inc! We’re finally looking in on Angus the Minotaur and how he’s coping with his stalled relationship with Lightning Lady.

(Scene: A church basement on the west side of Fairmount City. A young man excitedly recognizes Angus the Minotaur.)

Matt: Hey! I know you!
Matt: You’re Angus the Minotaur!
Angus: Ach! Look, mate, I’m not lookin’ for any bother!

Panel 2
(Matt tries to reassure Angus while fanboying over him.)

Matt: It’s OK!
Matt: I’m a hench just like you!
Matt: —Well, not just like you! You’re a legend!
Angus: Thank you. Good night.

Panel 3
(Matt stops Angus from leaving, insisting on buying him a drink.)

Matt: HOLD ON! You gotta let me buy you a beer!
Angus: No, thanks, I… Excuse me…

Panel 4
(A woman with dark hair approaches the two with a question.)

Woman: Could you tell me which way to the Route Three bus stop?
Matt: Oh!
Matt: Oh, yes!
Matt: Let me show you…

Panel 5
(Angus finally gives in to Matt’s persistence, picking him up as he agrees to have a drink together.)

Angus: Fine, then, ya dobber. Let’s have a damned pint…

Panel 6
(The woman panics and tries to stop them.)

Matt: WAIT!
Matt: NO!

Panel 7
(The woman sighs as she stands near a bulletin board, revealing she is attending a support group meeting.)

(Sign on the bulletin board: “TONIGHT
7 PM Minotaurs Without Mates
8 PM Succubi Support: Overdrainers Anonymous”)

(The woman’s wings extend with a “FWUMP” sound as she resigns herself to the situation.)

Woman: (sigh)

Here’s your early access to Tuesday’s Evil Inc! The villains think their new manager, Cassie Cruz, has been leaking information to the superheroes. She needs to find the REAL mole before it’s too late.

(Narration: “After their coffee break.”)

Jeremy: Could the mole be someone from the Silver Agency crew?

Cassie Cruz: No… They’ve been in orientation all this time. They wouldn’t have access to high-level intelligence.

[Panel 2]
(Setting: A company orientation room. Employees, including Gluetrap, Malocchio, Faux Fox, and the Night Mayor, are sitting in chairs. Giant Tess is standing, directing the class. A sign in the background reads “SAFETY FIRST – THEN PULL THE TRIGGER” with smaller text referencing workplace romance.)

Gluetrap: What about workplace romances?

Giant Tess: The company frowns on dating among employees.

Night Mayor: That’s not gonna stop me from asking a smokeshow like Lightning Lady out on a date!

(Yellow narration box: “…Or any intelligence, for that matter.”)

(Giant Tess responds to Night Mayor’s comment.)

Giant Tess: If you got a date with her… The company would go through a series of Tex Avery-style reactions… including bulging eyes, floor-level jaw drops, a carpet-like unraveling tongue…And “Awoogah-awoogah!” sound effects.

(Giant Tess looms over Night Mayor.)

Giant Tess: …And then it would frown.

The Evil Inc villains think their new manager, Cassie Cruz, has been leaking information to the superheroes, and they’re out to stop her… even if it means possessing her coffee with an evil spirit.

Here’s your early access to the next Evil Inc! The superheroes seem to have had advance notice on a number of Evil Inc schemes. Evil Inc has a mole. And the Evil Inc villains think it’s their new manager, Cassie Cruz.

Cassie Cruz: Close the door behind you, Jeremy…

Cassie Cruz: For the past few weeks, it seems as if the superheroes have been using inside information to thwart our clients.

Panel 3

Jeremy: I’ve heard. We may have a mole.

Panel 4

Cassie Cruz: The employees think it’s me!
And they’re mad as hell!

Panel 5

Jeremy: That’s ridiculous.
This very morning, Desi wanted to bring you a hot cup of coffee as soon as you got to the office!
She even asked how you take it.

Panel 6

Jeremy: Did she make it strong enough?

Panel 7
Cassie Cruz:  I dunno… Let’s ask it.

(Cassie lifts an overturned bucket on her desk, revealing a coffee cup where the coffee has turned into a monstrous creature, growling and snapping.)

(Sound effects: “RAWR”, “ARGH”, “SMASH”, “SNAP”)
