How to get your reward

If you log into Patreon, you should see a little word balloon icon when you sign in to Patreon.

• On a desktop computer, it should appear along the top.
• If you, too, are a Patreon creator, you’ll see it in your dashboard along the left-hand corner of your screen
• On the Patreon app, you’ll see the word balloon icon along the bottom of your screen

It should indicate you have a new message! That message will contain your special download codes. If you enabled e-mail notifications from Patreon, you will receive an e-mail as well! I strongly recommend this!

Declined payments

An issue with a payment partner is causing a slightly higher-than-normal number of payments to be declined by patrons’ banks. Patreon has traced the increased declines back to upgrades required by one of their processing partners. Patrons might see some payments declined while changes take effect.

If your payment was declined, follow these steps:

• Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card
• If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. You can edit your payments in their Settings, under Billing History:

That happens sometimes — especially if your card was declined or if a payment hasn’t gone through yet. If that happens to you, simply update your card info, complete the payment, and get in touch with me. I’ll happily send you the links at that time!
