One of the things I like to talk about on social media is how we’ve crossed certain thresholds together — $3400, $3500, $3600, and so on — as a way of expressing my gratitude (and, of course, encouraging others to join our group.
If you go to Patreon.com/guigar today, you’ll see that my pledge total has dropped from $3591 to $3229.
There’s nothing to worry about. 🙂
Patreon has changed the way it displays the pledge totals to more accurately show what the creators are actually getting after Patreon and Stripe (the company Patreon uses to process credit-card transactions) take their reasonable fees.
I will go back to announcing when we cross those thresholds again. But you’ll hear some familiar numbers again. (Well, hopefully you will!)
If you’re so inclined, I will certainly appreciate your telling a friend about the great content we’re making possible together. Word of mouth is the best promotion! And I’m always thrilled when someone takes to their social media to spread the good word.
Finally, this is a good time to remind you to follow me on Twitter (@guigar) so you can get any updates and announcements I make over there.
As always, if you have questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line. I know Patreon has some awesome improvements in store for the coming months, and if this is an indication that they’re moving forward with some of them, then I think we’re all in for a great ride!
As always — thank you!
